Wednesday Night @ The Hill

Wednesday Night @ The Hill will have three classes from 6:15-7:30 p.m. with childcare in the nursery for 0 to Pre-K and in the children’s ministry for kindergarten to 5th grade. Classes will be five weeks from January 12 to February 9th (a new set of 5-week classes will begin the following week). Father Terry’s class will be from 4:30-5:30 and run from January 12th to April 27th via Zoom.

Fr. Terry Hedrick (4:30-5:30, via Zoom)

The Acts of the Apostles has much to say about how to live in community during turbulent times.  Join Chapel Hill’s scholar-in-residence for this in-depth study.

Pastor Jeff Gannon (Zoom)

If you’ve ever wondered what it means to be a Methodist, this class will explore our roots, explain our beliefs and practices, and experience what connects Methodists across the globe.

Jessica Stong (Zoom)

How many followers of Jesus have asked themselves, “Is this all there is?” The book Journey of the Soul by Bill and Kristi Gaultiere answers, “There is so much more.” Through it you’ll discover new possibilities for living in love with God, yourself, and others.

Suz McIver (in person)

In this class, participants will consider many aspects of death, dying and grief, acknowledging that the more we understand, the better we will feel. Through conversations, movie clips, book excerpts and simulations, we will study the dying process, death ceremonies and rituals, ways to help ourselves and others – and the great teachers and lessons that are among us.
