“You are the salt of the earth.” Mt. 5:13a
“You are the light of the world.” Mt. 5:14a

Quote from Disney’s THE PRINCESS & THE FROG. This weekend is Father’s Day weekend. Remember to share a word of gratitude with your dad or with one that has been an important father figure in your life. Family love and care is given to us with lots of variety—sometimes through unexpected circumstances and grace. Go, Dads!

GRADUATES! We are so proud of you!
Please enjoy these greetings from some of your Chapel Hill leaders:
Dear 2020 SENIORS,
During the last 10 years, it has been so much fun seeing you all grow up from giggling, smiling little girls, and mischievous, ornery little boys to young people who love the Lord and do good works for Him. Many of you have been a vital part of Children’s Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, The Lord’s Diner, and Chapel Hill Youth Mission Trips. Without your enthusiasm, these areas of service would have been unsuccessful. Your quest to serve God also carried over to other areas of your lives such as school, family, and friends. People can always count on you for support and reliability.
We are so sorry your Senior year was interrupted by the COVID 19 Crisis. The sudden cancellations did not allow you to experience Graduation, Senior Prom, and Sports–along with other senior activities and college choices. During this confusion, anger, and grief, it is so good that God is an important part of your lives, and you can count on Him for comfort. He knows the path he has planned for you, so remember to pray and talk to Him
“For I know the plans I have for you.” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29: 11
It will be so fun to hear about your future plans, and to see the direction God is taking you. We were honored to be a small part of your lives.
God Bless All of you!
– Aunt Deb and Marcia
As this phase of your life ends in quite an unusual manner and the next phase begins in uncertain times, please know that God will guide you through this time if you let Him, just as He has helped all of us through our trials and tribulations in the past. I wish you the very best in your future,
and remember your roots created at your home and your church home.
-John Ronnebaum, High School UMYF Sponsor
Congratulations Chapel Hill Grads on your accomplishment. High School is a big milestone in life as you now start to make more decisions about your journey on your own, based on your own philosophy you have been developing. For some you have a solid foundation already built, for others you are in the process of building. Wherever you are, keep working towards a better understanding, a closer relationship with God, and better people to surround yourself with. In the words of Jim Rohn, “Fashion for yourself a good life.” It starts now. And you are already set up for success by your presence here in this place of worship. Decide for yourself what a good life should look like. What makes it work well. What is truly important. Come up with a plan to achieve and work towards that goal. God Bless.
-Jon Doell, High School Sunday School Teacher
Congratulations Grads!! I am both blessed and thankful to have gotten to know you through the years. You are all such grace filled, loving, gifts from God. You will do such great things with your futures and I am excited to see you soar!!
-Katie Morrison, Wednesday Youth at the Hill & UMYF sponsor
