Chapel Hill is pleased to offer a wide range of adult ministries, from study-intensive Sunday morning classes to intimate Zoe groups. Whatever your age, stage in life, or spiritual needs, you’re sure to find just the community you’re looking for.

STUDY GROUPS & CLASSES

At Chapel Hill, we are passionate about learning.  And we are blessed with extraordinary teachers, from Senior Pastor Rev. Jeff Gannon, to nationally recognized Rev. Dr. James Bryan Smith and our Scholar-in-Residence Fr. Terry Hedrick, Ph.D. Additionally, Rev. Jennifer Herndon, Jacob Alan Cook, Ph.D., and our Director of Adult Discipleship Abigail Cook teach classes regularly as well as many of our lay leaders and community members. Taking a class or workshop, participating in a group, and self-study are activities that help us grow in our faith and expand our theology.

We encourage you to click the button below to explore our classes and find the learning activity that best suits your current faith walk needs.

SEE OUR CLASSES

Seniors want and need opportunities to serve as well as be served, to minister as well as be ministered to. Although Chapel Hill Senior Ministry focuses on people 50 and older, all adults are welcome. We invite everyone to attend any of our events and have neither strict age limit nor restrictions.

NOTE: Out of an abundance of caution, our Seniors Ministry is not meeting at this time in person, but are encouraged to join one of the many ZOOM classes to grow in faith and fellowship.

HEALTH & WHOLENESS

Theological and practical implications for honoring the Body of Christ and honoring God’s creation in our human flesh. We offer educational tools, supportive outreach and hope to touch every area of the church ministry because honoring God’s creation is a call to live out in every aspect of our ministry.

Some of our Zoe groups, our small group adult discipleship groups, meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. Most of these groups meet offsite in homes and other private spaces.
