“Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.” Mk. 9:50b
Now the Lord came and stood there, calling as before, “Samuel! Samuel!”
And Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
– 1 Samuel 3:10 (NRSV)
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: “What are you doing for others?””
-Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
How is God calling you?
The invitation to follow Jesus is always present. Our first task is to listen. Then, we can ask. And, eventually we will dwell in God’s presence. And, God will make a home in our hearts.
Finding our way isn’t always easy. But, many times the journey is full of joy. Joy is that sustaining rhythm of God’s love that holds us up and holds us close.
Know you are welcome. Know you can be curious. Know you can always come home.
The world will always find ways to interrupt and capture our attention. As people of faith we are invited to steer away from a “me-centered,” “we-centered,” “busy & important” way of life and become
How can you serve another today? How can you serve God?
Be rays of light and hearts of healing in our broken world.
