Next Steps…

1. Are you willing to help remove the stigma around mental illness? If so, begin with language. Let’s not use “You’re crazy,” or “You’re nuts!” Let’s encourage people (including ourselves) with mental illness to seek treatment and take medication, if not already.
2. Ask yourself the questions asked at every baptism….and every time you have contact with water….”I am baptized….God is watching or washing over me!”
   1. Do you renounce the spiritual forces of wickedness, reject the evil powers of this world and repent of your sin? I DO
   2. Do you accept the freedom and power God gives you to resist evil, injustice and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves?  I DO
3. What is the “block” for you to experience Christ’s light, love, life and peace? Name it. Pray about how to resolve it.
