Wise words:
“If you are uncertain (in your journey) of which path to take…
choose the one on which the shadow of the cross falls.”
–Hugh Walpole
God is not standing over us. God is standing beside us.
And God says, “I love you and you are mine.”
Jesus knew temptation, that we might be strong.
Jesus stumbled, that we might walk.
Jesus was mocked, that we might be brave.
Jesus hangs, so that we might stand.
Choose the path on which the shadow of the cross falls.
Lent is an invitation to Christian life.
Sisters and brothers in Christ, let us keep a Holy Lent.
