Summit Youth Academy Poverty Simulation

The Summit is also going to host a poverty simulation event on Sunday, February 26th, from 1:00 – 5:00pm at Rose Hill UMC.  It is for high schoolers to learn more in a hands-on way about what it’s like to live with  minimal resources, and we will be leading them through reflection afterwards as to how they can use their unique gifts to serve others in today’s world.  Registration starts in January. Contact Chris if you are interested.

 

Confirmation for youth entering 8th grade fall 2023

Please contact the church office to include your child in the 2023 confirmation class. Class schedule to be determined soon.

 

Summer Youth Events

As we begin 2023, we will be planning our summer events. Be in prayer about Middle School and High School Mission trips, and Summit Youth Academy (youth entering Junior and

 Senior years in fall 2023) at Southwestern College. Sign ups and planning meetings will start soon.

 

Prayer for Today

 

Almighty God,

send the light of thy Son into our lives anew today.

Let your presence touch our minds and hearts

with your mercy, grace, and truth.

Direct our thought, speech and steps to the end

that we may walk in your way today and always.

In the name of Christ.
