St. Arbucks Chapel – August 13, 2025
Grace, mercy, and God’s peace be with us all!
I had an incredible experience at the Holy Spirit Retreat Center in Encino, California. Fr. Bill Sheehan led the session on Centering Prayer: Integrating Spirituality and Psychology. It was tough to remain in silence for 8 days, including during meals, but the prayer sessions were meaningful and spiritually powerful. I look forward to sharing more this fall as I teach a Centering Prayer class.
Here are the classes I will be teaching this fall:
- Centering Prayer – Each Wednesday – 10 to 11 – I will teach on Centering Prayer using a variety of resources and then we will practice Centering Prayer for 20 minutes. We will have a time to debrief after our prayer experience. This class begins on September 3rd and will end on November 19th.
- Spiritual Gifts: Discovering, Developing and Deploying God’s Spiritual Gifts! Each Wednesday – 6 to 7 pm starting September 3rd. This class will last until October 29th. This class is designed to help you discover how God has gifted you to make a difference in this world that God loves.
