St. Arbucks Chapel – August 27, 2025
Jill Miller, one of our staff members, was recently in Estes Park and visited the United Methodist Church there, which has open windows to the Rocky Mountains. A glorious view, for sure! Pastor Ann Steiner Lantz, shared this affirmation of faith during the service. It is beautifully written and can certainly be used on a daily basis to re-center us when we feel as though the world is off-center. I would encourage you to use it each day or as often as you need to recalibrate your trust in the One who is trustworthy. Thanks, Jill, for sharing this.
We believe in God, the Creator of heaven and earth, who seeks us in the wilderness, calls us by name, and sees us when we feel unseen.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s living Word, our guide on life’s journey, who shows us the depth of God’s love and invites us to walk in faith, even when the path is unclear.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, our comforter, and companion, who watches over us like a sparrow in flight, who gives us strength when we are weary, and moves us toward hope when all seems lost.
We believe that no one is forgotten. No story is too small. No journey is too far for God to find us.
We trust in the God who sees, the Christ who walks beside us, and the Spirit who leads us on. Thanks be to God. Amen
