Partnering with Family Promise:
Helping Families Find a Home
Chapel Hill is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Family Promise of Greater Wichita! This incredible organization works to help families with children overcome homelessness and housing insecurity, and we’re honored to join their mission.
Family Promise utilizes a powerful network of local churches, like ours, to provide safe shelter and warm meals for these families on a rotating weekly basis. It’s more than just a roof and a meal; it’s about showing these families that their community cares, offering them dignity, safety, and stability as they work towards finding a permanent home.
This proven model keeps children in Wichita from experiencing the trauma of homelessness and helps prevent kids from entering foster care. We believe deeply in the work Family Promise does, empowering faith communities to lead the way in creating lasting change for families in need.
How You Can Help
Our next week to host families is September 28th to October 5th. We need your support to make this a welcoming and successful experience for the families we’ll be serving.
