Beyond the First Pitch: A Conversation with Sr. Mary Jo Sobieck
One day while scrolling on YouTube trying to find a video I came across the famous nun who threw out the first pitch for the Chicago White Sox a few years ago. The video of Sr. Mary Jo throwing the first pitch in her habit 7 years ago became an internet phenomenon.
She has an arm! 🙂 You can easily find the video on YouTube.
I emailed Sr. Mary Jo and asked if I could interview her. Fortunately, she accepted my invitation and here is my interview. Sr. Mary Jo now has a “Pitch for the Day,” short social media platform where she mixed Scripture with encouragement and prayer. Needless to say, Sr. Mary Jo is an absolutely delightful person who is fully alive in Christ and shares the joy of Jesus with the least amount of resistance.
